Long time no post! I've been really busy with life

Long time no post!
I've been really busy with life in general this past autumn as I have finally managed to get the papers I need for my top surgery, started a Gofundme (link on my website in bio if you want to help me out! 🙏💜) for said top surgery and I'm about to start on testosterone!
During all of this I haven't had the energy or drive to paint, but now that things are looking up I'm slowly getting back into it!
So, have this portrait of my Blood Elf boy Acquila! I went very loose with this because I didn't want to put any pressure on myself but I really do enjoy how it turned out!

Way back in March @arleebean posted a 'let's paint this together' sketch/piece for the community (check out #paintwitharlee for other people's interpretation!).
I didn't get around to painting it until just last week due to life and mental health getting in the way, but I loved the sketch so much I knew I had to paint it!
I went into this with no set plan so it was very much a yolo painting project. I'm really happy with how the colours came together though and I accidentally learned a lot about glazing and layering with this particular paints!

The wig is too long (used what was supposed to be my Moira base wig) but overall I'm pretty happy with this test.
